Are you a woman studying within the Faculty of Science and Engineering? We’re excited to announce that the brand-new Women in STEM (WiSTEM) space is officially open!

Located in 205.235 (Building 205, Room 235), this dedicated space has been created to foster a welcoming, inclusive and safe environment for students and staff who identify as women, as well as non-binary and gender-diverse students who feel comfortable in women-centred spaces.

Whether you’re looking for a quiet spot to study, wanting to connect with like-minded peers or seeking out opportunities for professional growth, WiSTEM is here to support your journey. The space is more than just a room. It’s a place to belong, share experiences and grow as part of a supportive community within the Faculty of Science and Engineering.

We have a range of events planned for Semester 2, 2025, designed to empower, inspire and connect the Women in STEM community at Curtin.
