Get involved and become an Orientation Week Volunteer in Semester 1, 2026!
Interested in being part of a diverse events team, meeting new friends and making an impact on new students coming to Curtin in 2026? As an O-Week volunteer, you’ll provide support, deliver campus tours and help facilitate exciting activities that connect new students to the Curtin community.
Eligibility
Applications are open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from all study areas at Curtin Perth (Bentley campus).
Students should also:
- Have completed at least one semester in their course of study
- Be committed and proactively engage with opportunities
- Enjoy helping others
- Have strong communication skills
Your involvement as a volunteer is pivotal to creating an exceptional experience for new Curtin students throughout the week.
What you’ll gain
- A chance to be part of the O-Week events team and meet students from outside your study area
- The opportunity to develop leadership, interpersonal, communication and organisational skills in a fun, event-based environment
- A certificate of participation
