The Makerspaces Australasia Symposium is an annual 2-day, in‑person professional gathering for people who work in and manage makerspaces across Australia, Aotearoa New Zealand, and surrounding countries. It brings together staff from university, library, school, community, industry, and institution‑run makerspaces to:

Discuss common challenges such as staffing models, safety, sustainability, access, and growth

Build connections across the makerspace sector

Learn from peers through talks, panels, and informal discussions
