Kids concussion recovery community conversation

Researchers at Curtin are trying to better understand concussion recovery for children in WA. They need help in designing their study and want to hear from young people (aged 12 to 22) who have experienced concussion, and parents/caregivers of young people who have experienced concussion.

CLEAR-Stroke research partners

CLEAR-Stroke research partners

The CLEAR-Stroke project will evaluate stroke rehabilitation services across WA and help centres to meet global standards. The research team are looking for two to four people from regional or remote WA with lived experience of stroke and needed rehabilitation (either themselves or as a carer) to join them as research partners.

Researchers at Curtin want to improve their understanding of why dementia disproportionately affects women by bringing together the best available evidence on women’s dementia risk across the life course. They are looking for five women aged 45+ to form a Consumer Advisory Group to advise on the research from a lived experience perspective.

A Consumer Reference Group for planning health pregnancies was established in 2017 at Curtin University’s School of Population Health. Given the expanding scope of the research program, the research team would now like to involve new community members to share their perspectives and experiences.
