Overview

This Undergraduate Certificate may lead students into the Creative Writing major (MJRU-CRWR1) within the Bachelor of Arts (B-ARTS) program at Curtin.

  • apply principles and concepts of Creative Writing in a variety of contexts relevant to further learning and/or paraprofessional work
  • apply critical and creative thinking and problem solving skills relevant to Creative Writing to generate innovative solutions to problems
  • use technology appropriately to communicate Creative Writing concepts to experts and non-experts
  • consider global perspectives on Creative Writing and international Creative Writing standards
