Specialisation overview
The specialisation in Advanced Geophysical Methods is intended as a complete foundation in modern geophysics. Students gain a deep understanding of both the principles and industrial application of geophysics that may be used for subsurface characterisation for mining and energy industries, detecting earthquakes, delineating ancient grave sites, defining groundwater systems, assessing a dam wall, or monitoring the movement of fluids deep in the Earth. The specialisation is ideal for those working towards a career as a modern highly skilled geoscientist or geophysicist.Detailed course structure and unit information
