This pathway won’t take you any longer, as completing the units in those graduate certificates will provide course credits towards your MBA.

You can specialise in one of three areas of business expertise.
Business Administration
In this specialisation, you’ll gain the ability to create and evaluate innovative ideas and strategise for unpredictable business environments.
This specialisation focuses on contemporary business challenges, helping you become an agile and effective leader. You’ll study economic and technological change, resource management, regulation and uncertainty, and learn how to evaluate and implement business strategies that help organisations succeed in volatile environments.

Digital Finance
Knowledge of digital finance is fundamental to the modern economy and contemporary entrepreneurial success.
Learn about the blockchain technologies, digital currency, management strategies, market design, and governance and regulation involved in the transformation of financial markets.
This specialisation was developed in consultation with the national Digital Finance Cooperative Research Centre (DFCRC). You can also choose to participate in an industry research project with the DFCRC or a Curtin industry partner.
Energy Transition
In this specialisation, you’ll gain knowledge in energy management as well as the functional disciplines of business management.
Learn how to respond to significant changes within the energy sector, such as the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy, as well as energy storage and distribution.
You will benefit from Perth’s reputation as a global energy hub, learning alongside industry executives and creating connections to transition your career into the energy sector.

Entry requirements
For entry into the MBA, applicants require a relevant undergraduate degree from a recognised tertiary institution and at least three (3) years of relevant work experience. Alternatively, applicants to the MBA may have a relevant Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma with a Course Weighted Average of 65%, and three (3) years of relevant work experience. Entry to the course is competitive and applicants will be required to undertake an interview as the final stage of application assessment.
