John Curtin Weekend

John Curtin Weekend (JCW) is Curtin Volunteers!’ largest community project and takes place in September and October each year. This year’s John Curtin Weekend will take place over five weekends from 11 September to 11 October with a greater focus on overnight trips.

With close to 200 volunteers travelling to 15+ regional and remote communities to work on a range of initiatives, the experience offered by JCW is truly unique.

“I really liked the people that I met on this trip, I don’t think under normal circumstances I would have come across all of them. I also found the whole experience illuminating. I hardly ever go on trip around WA and I’ve never been to a small rural town before.”
