Women’s Brain Health for Life Consumer Advisory Group

Researchers at Curtin want to improve their understanding of why dementia disproportionately affects women by bringing together the best available evidence on women’s dementia risk across the life course. They are looking for five women aged 45+ to form a Consumer Advisory Group to advise on the research from a lived experience perspective.

A Consumer Reference Group for planning health pregnancies was established in 2017 at Curtin University’s School of Population Health. Given the expanding scope of the research program, the research team would now like to involve new community members to share their perspectives and experiences.
