About the facilitators

Sheree Ip

Sheree Ip is a recognised leader in the blockchain industry, having executed Australia’s first Initial Coin Offering in 2017. She specialises in designing and delivering blockchain-enabled solutions across sectors including medical, energy, media and cybersecurity, combining deep technical expertise with a strong legal background to develop future-focused digital architectures.

Sheree is a former Board Director of Blockchain Australia (now the Digital Economy Council of Australia), where she contributed to national policy reform. She brings over a decade of experience advising international technology firms and has been actively involved in global advocacy and standardisation initiatives across emerging technologies.

Alongside her industry work, Sheree is committed to academic excellence. She is an Associate Lecturer at Curtin University, coordinating and teaching digital finance units within Curtin Law School, contributing to the Digital Finance Cooperative Research Centre’s MBA specialisation. She is also a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Western Australia and a Doctoral Candidate at Curtin University.
