The ability to apply AI confidently and responsibly in the workplace is becoming a core professional capability. Yet many organisations are still experimenting without clear frameworks, shared language or practical integration into everyday workflows.
This intensive, one-day course moves beyond theory to build real, hands-on AI capability that participants can apply immediately.
Designed for professionals across all industries, the program focuses on practical experimentation, structured thinking and tangible outputs. Participants will bring their own devices and actively work with leading generative AI tools to test, refine and embed new ways of working.
Throughout the day, participants will:
- Apply structured prompting using the RTCF framework (Role, Task, Context, Format)
- Identify high-value AI use cases using the AI Opportunity Finder
- Redesign everyday workflows to improve efficiency and decision quality
- Develop practical safeguards for responsible AI use
By the end of the program, participants will leave with:
- A personalised prompt library tailored to their role
- Four reusable AI-supported decision tools
- A structured action plan with commitments for the coming week, month and quarter
No technical background is required — only curiosity and a willingness to experiment.
The AI capability lifecycle series
This workshop is part of a three-part AI Capability Lifecycle series. Each program can be completed independently, or together as a structured pathway to AI literacy and leadership.
1. AI in practice: Building everyday capability
How can I use AI confidently in my role?
For professionals across all industries.
2. AI to drive business innovation
Which AI project should we fund?
For executives and strategists shaping organisational priorities.
3. AI in leadership and project management
How do I successfully deliver this AI project?
For project managers and team leaders responsible for implementation.
Together, the series builds capability from practical experimentation through to strategic investment and responsible delivery.
