Specialisation overview
Engineering design is a method of design focused on creating systems that meet the needs of the stakeholders or clients. To minimise areas such as the amount of material, production cost, and time-to-market, it is critical that the selection of materials and manufacturing processes are done early in the design process. This extended specialisation focuses on the methodology of designing effective solutions for stakeholders while minimising resources such as cost, time, and materials. It is assumed that students have a fundamental understanding of technical drawing, engineering modelling, and manufacturing processes.Detailed course structure and unit information
