This specialisation focuses on the fundamental concepts and challenges in both high- and low-level aspects of cybersecurity within an applied and project-based learning environment. It offers students solid knowledge and skills to identify cybersecurity issues and implement proper controls to protect an organisation and individual assets.

What you'll learn

  • Demonstrate a conceptual understanding of fundamental science, mathematics, data analytics, information science, sustainability principles and/or computing, GC1
  • Solve cyber security problems of industrial and societal significance via innovative and creative design or research, working individually or in teams, GC2
  • Select and use current and emerging technologies to develop and communicate effective and innovative cyber security solutions to complex problems, GC3
