Discover what truly motivates people to perform, grow and thrive.
The way we work is changing. New technologies, evolving employee expectations, hybrid workplaces and ongoing disruption are challenging organisations to rethink how they engage, motivate and retain their people. Sustained performance takes more than incentives and rewards. It requires an understanding of what drives people to contribute, innovate, learn and perform at their best.
This masterclass draws on best practice from more than 50 years of research across workplaces, education, healthcare, and elite sport, and is grounded in Self-Determination Theory – one of the world’s leading evidence-based frameworks for understanding human motivation.
You will explore the different forms of motivation and how they influence behaviour, performance, and wellbeing. Discover why traditional approaches based primarily on rewards, pressure and compliance can have limited impact, and learn how to foster deeper, more enduring motivation through purpose, personal values, growth and meaningful engagement.
You will leave with practical, evidence-based strategies to create a workplace where people are motivated to perform and equipped to thrive.
