Centrally scheduling your exams

The Progression, Assessment and Awards (PAA) Office manages all centrally scheduled examinations. Your School manages all other examinations as school‑scheduled examinations, unless they are requested to be centrally scheduled by PAA. PAA also schedules and supports Open Universities Australia (OUA) examinations in line with OUA study periods.
You must make yourself available for all scheduled examinations. Centrally scheduled examinations may be held during the day or evening across the examination period, or during another centrally scheduled assessment period, including weekends where required. Curtin University does not schedule examinations during study weeks or tuition‑free weeks.
Examination timetables
Your personalised draft and final examination timetables are made available in OASIS according to the following timeline:

- You have one week to provide feedback on the draft timetable to your School or Faculty.
- Four weeks before the examination period, the final examination timetable is published.
- Two weeks before the examination period, venue details and seat numbers (for Bentley Perth Campus face‑to‑face examinations) are released.
