Get active, make friends and have fun with social sports at the Curtin Stadium.
Play basketball, volleyball, netball, soccer, futsal and ultimate frisbee at any level of sporting skill. Gather your friends, teammates or join as an individual through Just Play or find people who are looking for teams on the Curtin Social Sports group. The competition runs from Monday 3 August until Wednesday 23 October.

- Beach volleyball (Mixed and women’s)

- 5-a-side soccer (Mixed and men’s)
- Ultimate frisbee (Mixed)
When: Social Sports runs from Monday 3 August to Wednesday 21 October on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, with games scheduled between 6pm and 10pm. Where: Curtin Stadium, B111, Bentley. Who can play? Social Sports is open to everyone – Curtin students, staff and community members.
How to register:
- Visit payments
- Under ‘Places Required’, select how many team members you have, will be required to provide details for each player, player lists can be updated post registration/during the season
- If all your team members are Curtin University students, please insert the voucher code: ‘CUSTUDENTS’, this will allow you to register the team for free.
- Submit your registration and get ready to play! You will receive a confirmation of your booking from noreply@payments.curtin.edu.au as well as an email from stadium@curtin.edu the week before the program starts.
Registrations close Thursday 23 July or when sports reach capacity.
Register as an individual through Just Play
Want to join Social Sports as an individual but don’t have a team?
Sign up on the Just Play website, select your preferred sport and game night, then sign up, pay online and Just Play will manage the games for you – all you need to do is show up! Find a team on the Social Sports Facebook group Looking for a team to join? Our Social Sports Facebook Group is the easiest way to connect with players and teams looking for extras. How it works:
- Join the Facebook group
- Post the sport you would like to play and the day you would like to play
- Teams looking for players will contact you Whether you’re looking to play for the full semester or just want to fill-in for a one-off game, this is a great way to get involved. Missed registrations? No problem, many teams are still looking for players after the season starts.
