When Curtin Arts and Commerce alumna Joanna Dutosme graduated, she had no idea the incredible journey that lay ahead.

After graduating from Curtin University in 2022, Joanna launched a consulting career, which gave her strong foundations in problem-solving and client relations.

Driven by a desire to create a positive impact in the education sector, Joanna returned to Curtin not as a student, but as an Equity and Access Advisor.

For Joanna, this role is more than just a job, it’s a chance to support students in meaningful ways by connecting them with essential resources, tailored support, and networking opportunities to help them succeed.

Alongside her work at Curtin, Joanna is also Head of Social Media at YOUNG IC – Young Investors Circle and recently launched her side business, Kwento Agency.

Joanna shares the biggest lessons she has learnt since graduating below.
