Assessment 2030 has refreshed Curtin’s assessment categories and subcategories, introducing a clear framework that classifies assessments as either Lane 1 (Secure) or Lane 2 (Non-Secure). This structured approach supports assessment transparency, pedagogical alignment, and diverse assessment design across courses.
To support the transition to the new AKARI assessment structure, we’ve created an Excel template to help course teams plan and map their assessments before updating them in the system.
The template is designed to guide you through the new assessment field structure and can be used when working with your Planning Coordinator to update units.
