Course overview
The healthcare industry needs skilled professionals with both science and management skills.
From chronic disease and mental health to aging and wellbeing, the systems, communities and research behind our healthcare industry have diverse challenges to solve.
The Bachelor of Health Sciences prepares you for a career at the forefront of the healthcare industry through two distinct majors: Health Promotion and Health Services.
Both majors offer you industry-relevant knowledge and skills and the real-world experience to work in Australia and globally.
Health Promotion
This major is ideal if you'd like to work directly with communities and organisations that build health equity and reduce the drivers of illness and poor health.
Health Services
The Health Services major is ideal if you want to improve how health services are planned, delivered and managed. Rather than providing direct patient care, you’ll work with clinicians and healthcare teams to strengthen health systems and support healthier communities.
After completing this major, you may enhance your qualifications with a graduate-entry master degree in an allied health field.
