The Graduate Certificate in Luxury Marketing Management is suitable for applicants who wish to develop fundamental skills in luxury marketing management. The course covers the basic principles of luxury marketing management, design aesthetics as well as innovation and neuromarketing techniques. It is also an entry point for those who may be considering higher postgraduate qualifications in luxury branding in the future.

  • demonstrate proficiency in the use of data by applying appropriate research skills to address real-world luxury marketing management challenges
  • apply diverse ethical, socially responsible, and global perspectives in the development and implementation of luxury marketing management strategies
  • analyse, comprehend and apply the unique principles, practices, and strategies of luxury marketing management across a range of luxury product categories
  • develop innovative luxury marketing management strategies by applying the principles of design aesthetics, semiotics, and user experience design
  • communicate complex information, online and offline, to engage with relevant luxury industry stakeholders effectively, persuasively, and professionally

Admission criteria

What you need in order to get into this course. There are different pathway options depending on your level of work and education experience.

A bachelor degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, or at least 5 years' relevant work experience. Or by invitation, students who have completed 400 credits towards an undergraduate degree and have achieved a course weighted average of 70% or above will be eligible to apply. Final acceptance will be subject to a formal interview. Applicants must also meet Curtin's English language proficiency requirements.
