Carnaby Kids school holiday program
Carnaby Kids is a sports-based school holiday program that is perfect for children aged 5-13 years old who enjoy participating in sport. All levels of abilities are welcome!
Carnaby Kids is a school holiday program offering a wide range of sport and recreation-based activities, all led by our experienced team. Held at Curtin Sport & Recreation facilities at Curtin University, the program provides a fun, inclusive and active environment for children to play and experience new sports.
Kambarang is the Noongar season of transformation and abundance. As the weather warms, the land comes alive with colour, growth and new life. It’s a time of curiosity and discovery.
In that same spirit, our Carnaby Kids program this Kambarang season is designed to spark children’s curiosity, energy and sense of adventure. Through sport and play, kids will be inspired to stay active, try something new and connect with others in a vibrant and supportive environment.
Please note that this program will run for seven days, from 30 September to 8 October, on weekdays only. There will be no sessions on 29 September (public holiday), as well as on 9 and 10 October. Please refer to the program schedule for details on sports activities.
All parents/guardians/caregivers are required to download the Xplor Home App as a means to safely sign their child/ren in and out each day.
Registrations for each day close 24 hours in advance or once capacity is reached. Be sure to book early to avoid missing out! If your preferred day isn’t showing when you go to book, it means that day is already full.
The Carnaby Kids program was convenient for me and lots of fun for my kids!
My children found the environment really inclusive, with the instructors listening to their needs and adapting activities to their skill level. It was a great first-time experience, and the kids are keen to attend again.”

As a parent I appreciate the well-organised and structured program, and the communication has been great.
I was a bit hesitant at first to leave my five year old at Carnaby’s – but she absolutely loved it. From her first day there she met new friends, loved the physical activity, enjoyed the coaches, and really had a lot of fun. She asks in advance of every holiday now if she can go to Carnaby’s!”
