We want to know about your physical and mental health

The World Health Organisation recognises how tough university life can be, and has launched the World Mental Health International College Student Initiative who are conducting a survey about student mental health.

You will be asked to complete a confidential web survey where you will be asked questions about your past and current experiences, your physical and mental health, and whether you have ever used mental health services (e.g. a counsellor). You will also be asked about your pattern of alcohol and drug use, and your experience or thoughts around self-harm.

To participate, check your email between 5 March and 8 April 2019.

The survey will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. You can start the survey and come back to finish it at any time within one week.

If you start the survey and later decide to withdraw your participation, you don’t need to do anything – just ignore any reminder emails that are sent to you.

Whether you decide to participate or not will have no effect on any other aspect of your experience at Curtin University.

THANK YOU

All participants will receive a gift card (your choice of Amazon or Coles/Myer) as a token of your appreciation for your time, and be entered into a raffle to win one of 50 movie passes.

For more information about the survey, you may contact the researchers at wmhsurvey@curtin.edu.au
