Plot twist: your Curtin account comes with a free streaming service, and there’s some great stuff on there.
EduTV gives Curtin students access to over 100,000 documentaries, dramas and TV programs all free through Curtin Library. Think everything from Australian classics to international documentaries to the shows your lecturer keeps referencing that you’ve never actually watched.
It’s not just for assignments (though it’s great for those too). It’s genuinely something to put on when you want to watch something decent without adding another subscription to the pile.
Sourced from free-to-air and pay-TV channels, the collection spans from 2006 to the present and covers a wide range of subjects including history, politics, media, literature, science and Indigenous studies.
How to access it:
Head to the Library website > Databases > EduTV.
Log in with your Curtin credentials and start browsing.
