Welcome to a new year at Curtin!

As the world progresses, so does our campus. This year is no exception as we continue to add new features, facilities and opportunities to enhance the campus experience for our students. From the new IGA to the newly refurbished library and greener initiatives, there’s plenty of new upgrades, facilities and features to explore.

First and foremost, the new Tucker Fresh IGA, is now on campus! With a wide selection of fresh produce, household essentials, and grab-and-go snacks, this has quickly become a one-stop-shop for students. It’s a welcome addition to the campus, offering convenience and affordability to our students and local community.

Another exciting development is the newly refurbished TL Robertson library (Building 105). The library has been upgraded with modern amenities and advanced AV capabilities to cater to the needs of students in the digital age. With plenty of bookable study spaces, group rooms, kitchen facilities and comfortable seating areas, the library is the perfect place for students to study and collaborate on projects.

In addition to the new IGA and library, the campus has seen an upsurge in the number of clubs available to students. Including however not limited to, the Financial Planning Club, Curtin Podcast Society and more! These clubs provide students with a sense of community, helping them meet like-minded individuals and develop their skills outside of the classroom. They also provide opportunities for students to gain leadership experience and develop their resumes.

Finally, there are new greener initiatives being implemented on campus. One of the most notable is the closed-loop coffee cup recycling, which now provides specific bins to recycle disposable coffee cups. Curtin has partnered with Cleanaway to bring Simply Cups bins across campus. It’s a simple but effective way for students to contribute towards a more sustainable campus.

Curtin is constantly evolving to provide better services and experiences for our students. We can’t wait to share what’s in store for the rest of 2023!
