We have received reports from a number of students who are receiving emails claiming to be from Curtin saying that their Microsoft 365 accounts are going to be terminated and asking students to click on a link.

This has been identified as a scam email and we strongly advise that you do not click on any link within this email.

If you think you have clicked on the link provided in the email, for security reasons we request that you reset your Curtin password via OASIS immediately.

What to do if you think an email might be spam or a scam:

  1. Do not click on any links, open any attachments, or reply to the sender.
  2. Immediately forward the email to spam@curtin.edu.au, and then delete it.
  3. Remain vigilant when using your computer, as this is the best defence against fraudulent and/or mischievous activity.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Curtin Connect.
