Reconciliation is everybody’s business. This Sorry Day (26 May) and National Reconciliation Week (27 May to 3 June), take charge with brave actions towards reconciliation in your daily life.

National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

Preceding NRW, National Sorry Day remembers and acknowledges the mistreatment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who were forcibly removed from their families and communities, recognised as The Stolen Generations.

This year’s theme “Be Brave. Make Change.” is a challenge for all of us to Be Brave and tackle the unfinished business of reconciliation so we can Make Change for the benefit of all Australians. At Curtin, visit a range of events this NRW to learn more about the role you can play towards reconciliation.
