Curtin’s Bentley campus will be closed on Saturday 18 December 2010 due to essential power upgrade work. The scheduled upgrade work will take place between 6.00am – 9.00pm.
The resulting work will effect IT services as well, with key servers offline. Online services including Blackboard and OASIS will be affected.
The work will result in power outages to buildings on campus including:
300, 301, 311, 312, 004, 200(a), 201, 208, 209, 210, 211, 213, 599
As all of the University will be without IT services, and many buildings will be without power, it has been recommended the campus be closed to minimise the risks from a health and safety perspective.
