Flexible study options

Study online or in person

You can complete the Curtin MBA fully online or attend classes at our Perth city campus. You also have the flexibility to switch between online, in-person and intensive delivery formats throughout your course.

Evening and intensive classes

Core classes are scheduled on weekday evenings, typically between 5:30pm and 8:30pm. Intensive units run over one week or across two to three weeks, giving you flexibility in your timetable. See the 2025 MBA timetable.

Supported online learning

Online students complete the same assessments and receive the same support as on-campus students. Each trimester includes five optional live sessions with your coordinator and classmates, which are recorded for your convenience.

Fast-track your degree

Curtin’s trimester format lets you complete more units each year than in a standard semester, helping you finish your MBA sooner. You may also fast-track your MBA with credit for recognised learning (CRL) from prior postgraduate study.

Choose your MBA specialisation

Curtin offers four specialisations so you can tailor your MBA to what matters most in your career – whether that’s advancing as a leader, pivoting into a new sector or building expertise in a key area of business.

Complete your MBA as a double degree

Curtin’s Master of Science (Minerals and Energy Economics), Master of Business Administration double degree combines advanced resource management with business leadership skills, preparing professionals from technical and non-technical backgrounds for career progression in the resources sector.

The convenience of the city location and flexibility offered made studying an MBA at Curtin very tempting, and the Women in MBA scholarship made it a reality. I had a great routine – coming into the campus early and finishing my readings or meeting up with classmates before class.
