Canvas transition

Curtin’s current learning management system (LMS), Blackboard, will be replaced by Canvas and rolled out to all students across all Australian and global campuses.

The transition to Canvas will provide an improved user experience for both students and staff, simplifying teaching and enhancing student learning.

All units completed in 2026 will continue to be delivered through Blackboard, while units commencing in 2027 will be delivered through Canvas. If you have any units that begin in 2026 and finish in 2027, you will be contacted and receive early access to Canvas to complete these units.
