Canvas Student app
Canvas is set to replace Blackboard as our new learning management system by 2027. Learn more on the Canvas transition webpage.
The Canvas Mobile App lets you access your units on the go. Find out more about the app using the Canvas Community Guides. To download the app, select your device and follow the instructions below.
iPhone/iPad instructions
1. Go to the iTunes App Store either on your iPad or laptop.
2. Search for Canvas by Instructure.
3. Download the free Canvas app.
4. If you download the app onto a laptop, sync your iPad with your laptop.
5. Open the app and enter Curtin University in the field provided.
6. Login using your Curtin ID.
Android instructions
1. Go to the Google Play Store on your Android.
2. Search for Canvas by Instructure.
3. Download the free Canvas app.
4. Open the app and enter Curtin University in the field provided.
5. Login using your Curtin ID.
