Curtin’s Assessment 2030 Showcase

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Assessment 2030 Showcase on Thursday 20 August 2026 at Bentley Campus and online. Building on the success of our 2025 event, the day brought together colleagues from across the University for a full program of speakers and activities dedicated to rethinking assessment in the age of GenAI.

Proceedings opened with a keynote from Professor Jason Lodge, Professor of Educational Psychology and Director of the Learning, Instruction and Technology Lab in the School of Education at the University of Queensland. Professor Lodge led the development of TEQSA’s flagship resources on assessment in the AI era, including Assessment Reform for the Age of Artificial Intelligence and Enacting Assessment Reform in a Time of Artificial Intelligence.

The day then ran across four parallel streams:

Recordings from the keynote and all four streams are now available on the staff portal. Whether you attended on the day or missed a session you wanted to see, you can now watch at your own pace.
