What does Community-led healthcare look like?
Recent outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases, such as diphtheria, are a reminder that gaps in access to healthcare are leaving some communities more vulnerable than others.
Join Professor Anne-Marie Eades as she explores what it means to listen, learn and work alongside Community leaders to make healthcare more accessible and culturally responsive. She’ll discuss ‘Closing the Vaccine Gap’ – a Stan Perron Foundation-funded program guided by and for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and working to improve vaccine knowledge, access and uptake across Western Australia.
Learn how Community-led research is helping to shape a healthier future for generations to come.
