Curtin Kalgoorlie Open Day 2024

Are you in high school and thinking about your pathway to university? Or maybe you’re already in the workforce and considering your next move. Join us at Curtin University’s Kalgoorlie Open Day to find out more about our regional campus and discover where a degree from Curtin can take you.

This is your chance to speak to industry representatives about work opportunities and how our partnerships can benefit you in the workforce. You can also chat with our academic staff and current students about our courses in health, commerce engineering, mining, journalism, education and more.

While you’re there, check out some of the exciting activities on offer:

  • Learn about our entry pathways and courses in health, commerce, engineering, mining, journalism, education and more.
  • Try your hand at gold panning.
  • Speak to our industry partners about career opportunities and how our connections can benefit them in the workforce. 
  • Experience interactive activities and faculty booths from industry partners.
  • Get a visit from the WASM Wombat mascot.
  • Enter competitions with giveaways on the day.
  • Tour the campus and experience live demonstrations.  
  • Enjoy a sausage sizzle and other refreshments at one of the food trucks.
