It could be argued that projects succeed not by chance, but by alignment\u2014<em>strategy<\/em> turns activity into impact. Likewise taking a holistic approach to projects, recognising that events and actions can have impacts on one another and generate unforeseen consequences can facilitate project success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Led by Professor Fran Ackermann this masterclass provides delegates with frameworks and techniques enabling them to take a strategic and systemic approach to project management. You\u2019ll explore how to a) identify and align project objectives within and across organisations, and b) leverage competitive advantage through modelling the distinctive competences and assets within the organisation to ensure project success. You will also look at how risks can impact one another in surprising ways, and why we can end up with significant cost overruns through the exponential consequences of triggers such as late approvals or underestimation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This masterclass is part of the Project Management Masterclass Series, which consists of five modules.
