There is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/study\/applying\/application-deadlines\/\">cut-off date<\/a> each semester for course switching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-intro-font-size\">Course switching as a pathway<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Course switching may help you get into a course with more competitive admission criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, you can study the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/study\/offering\/course-ug-bachelor-of-science-health-sciences--b-hlthsc\/\">Bachelor of Science (Health Sciences)<\/a> to help you qualify for admission into a variety of health sciences courses, or you can study <a href=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/study\/offering\/course-ug-bachelor-of-multidisciplinary-science--b-mtdsc\/\">Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Science<\/a> as a pathway for admission into Bachelor of Science majors and STEM courses such as Computing, Engineering, Actuarial Science, Surveying, Medical Radiation Science and other health sciences courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-intro-font-size\">Eligibility criteria<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You are eligible to switch courses if you are in one of these categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>you are a Curtin student currently enrolled in a course<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>you are a past Curtin student who has previously been awarded a grade or has withdrawn from a course after the census date<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>you are enrolled in, or have completed, a Stage 2 Diploma at Curtin College<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>you have been awarded a grade or withdrawn after the census date from one of Curtin&#8217;s enabling programs and want to switch into an undergraduate course<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>you are enrolled, or have been enrolled, in Not For Degree Study and want to switch into an undergraduate course<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>you have completed studies at a Vocational Training and Employment Centre <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>you want to enrol into cross-institutional units<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>you are applying for mid-year entry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>you are enrolled, or have been enrolled, in Curtin units through Open Universities Australia and want to switch to an undergraduate course.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You must also ensure that you meet the admission criteria for your new course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you would like more information on switching courses, please contact the Admissions Office on 1300 222 888 or visit <a href=\"https:\/\/students.connect.curtin.edu.au\/app\/ask\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">submit an online webform<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you feel your current Curtin undergraduate course isn\u2019t for you, you may be able [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":0,"parent":3631,"menu_order":9,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_oasis_is_in_workflow":0,"_oasis_original":0,"_oasis_task_priority":"","footnotes":""},"tags":[],"class_list":["post-568","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/study\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/568","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/study\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/study\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/study\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/5"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/study\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=568"}],"version-history":[{"count":5,"href":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/study\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/568\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":183628,"href":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/study\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/568\/revisions\/183628"}],"up":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/study\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/3631"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/study\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=568"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/study\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=568"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
