Evidence of Name Change or Document Discrepancies <\/strong>
\nIf you have changed your name or if there are discrepancies in your official documents, you must provide evidence to clarify these. Acceptable evidence includes a marriage certificate, deed poll, or an affidavit. <\/p>\nAn affidavit can typically be obtained from a notary public, commissioner for oaths, or a legal professional authorised to prepare such documents. Certification of Documents<\/strong><\/div>\n <\/div>\n
Copies of academic transcripts and award certificates must be signed, dated, and accompanied by an official stamp or seal from one of the following authorised entities:<\/div>\n
\n- an authorised Curtin representative or agent<\/li>\n
- a Global Curtin Admissions staff member<\/li>\n
- a person with official authority at the issuing institution, such as the academic registrar or school principal<\/li>\n
- a Justice of the Peace<\/li>\n
- a Commissioner for Oaths or Declarations<\/li>\n
- any notary public<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Documents in a Language Other Than English<\/strong><\/div>\n <\/div>\n
If your documents are in a language other than English, you must provide official English translations along with the original certified copies. Translations must be accurate, literal, and complete versions of the original documents. They must be completed by:<\/div>\n
\n- an accredited translator or translation service<\/li>\n
- a person with official authority at the issuing institution<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Please note that translations completed by unauthorised parties, including the applicants or agents, will not be accepted.<\/div>\n
