What is StepUp to Curtin? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

StepUp is Curtin\u2019s ATAR adjustment scheme that provides a boost to your ATAR selection rank if you meet certain criteria based on socio-economic factors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your ATAR is between 60 and 69.95<\/strong>, and you\u2019re eligible for StepUp, your ATAR will be adjusted to 70. You\u2019ll still need to have completed any prerequisite subjects that apply to your preferred course. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your ATAR is 70 or above<\/strong>, and you\u2019re eligible for StepUp, you will receive five additional points, up to 99.95. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who\u2019s eligible for StepUp? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019re eligible for StepUp if you\u2019re a domestic applicant<\/a>, you\u2019ve met Curtin\u2019s English requirement<\/a> and you meet at least one of the following criteria: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. You\u2019re an Indigenous Australian; or <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    1. You\u2019ve faced financial hardship; or <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      1. You completed year 12 at an eligible school: <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n\n \n\n
        \n
