With this in mind, we have implemented a number of ways to make getting to and around campus easier, safer, more affordable and environmentally friendly.<\/p>\n<h3>Free Campus Buses<\/h3>\n<p>Take advantage of our free bus services to make your journey to, from and around our main campus easier. Our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/properties.curtin.edu.au\/transport\/campus-buses.cfm\">Curtin Access Bus Service<\/a>\u00a0(CABS) helps students in the surrounding area get to campus, while our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/properties.curtin.edu.au\/transport\/campus-buses.cfm\">Campus Courtesy Bus<\/a>\u00a0ensures safe passage on university grounds.<\/p>\n<p>During semester, you can hail the Campus Courtesy Bus Service to get around the main campus, including the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/study\/curtin-life\/campus-experience\/accommodation\/perth-on-campus\/\">student housing villages.<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Public Transport (Transperth)<\/h3>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/properties.curtin.edu.au\/getting-here\/public-transport\/\">Bentley campus bus station<\/a>\u00a0is one of the busiest in Perth. There are many regular services and connections to Canning Bridge train station, Oats Street train station, Perth city and beyond!<\/p>\n<p>As a Curtin student, you are entitled to a Tertiary\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.transperth.wa.gov.au\/TicketsandFares\/SmartRider.aspx\">SmartRider card<\/a>, which gives you concessional fares on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.transperth.wa.gov.au\/\">Transperth<\/a>\u00a0buses, trains and ferries*.<\/p>\n<p>*The SmartRider card remains separate to your\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/students\/essentials\/student-details-and-id\/\">Student ID Card<\/a>\u00a0and you must have a valid Tertiary SmartRider card in your possession to receive concessional fares on public transport. You can purchase a Tertiary SmartRider card from the G-Mart store on campus or from various\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.transperth.wa.gov.au\/smartrider\/retail-outlets\">SmartRider retail outlets<\/a>. For more information on Transport routes and timetables,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.transperth.wa.gov.au\/\">visit the Transperth website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n        \n                            \n                    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n                    <div class=\"accordion\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-title-Get-a-Photo-Card\">\n            <button type=\"button\" class=\"accordion__heading\" aria-controls=\"Get-a-Photo-Card\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n            <div class=\"title\" id=\"accordion-title-Get-a-Photo-Card\">Get a Photo Card<\/div>\n            <div class=\"icon\"><\/div>\n        <\/button>\n        <div class=\"accordion__content\" id=\"Get-a-Photo-Card\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n                    <p>Bars, clubs and other licensed venues (including the Curtin Tav) in Australia have strict ID requirements and therefore we strongly recommend that you <a href=\"https:\/\/www.transport.wa.gov.au\/licensing\/wa-photo-card.asp\">apply for a Photo Card (proof of age card).<\/a><\/p>\n<p>A photo card can be used as a form of identification and means you don\u2019t have to carry your passport with you on your nights out.
