To find out how you can get a copy of your Academic Transcript view the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/students\/essentials\/forms-documents\/official-student-documents\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/students\/essentials\/forms-documents\/official-student-documents\/\">official documents page<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have a sanction or exclusion placed on your record (e.g. outstanding fees, library fines) you will be unable to access your results, be provided with an Academic Transcript or graduate until you have cleared the sanction or exclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The grades and marks you receive have been assigned based on the University grading system. These grades and your School&#8217;s Board of Examiners will determine your academic status.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"accordions__container\"><div class=\"accordion\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-title-Further-Assessment-eligibility\">\n            <button type=\"button\" class=\"accordion__heading\" aria-controls=\"Further-Assessment-eligibility\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n            <div class=\"title\" id=\"accordion-title-Further-Assessment-eligibility\">Further Assessment eligibility<\/div>\n            <div class=\"icon\"><\/div>\n        <\/button>\n        <div class=\"accordion__content\" id=\"Further-Assessment-eligibility\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n                    <p style=margin-bottom:11px>\n<p style=margin-bottom:11px>\n<p style=margin-bottom:11px>A Further Assessment is an additional assessment task offered to eligible students by the Board of Examiners (BoE) provided they have met the required <a href=https:\/\/future.connect.curtin.edu.au\/app\/answers\/detail\/a_id\/3877 style= target=_blank>criteria<\/a>, giving the student a final opportunity to meet the learning outcomes of a unit. This task may be different from the original assessment.<\/p>\n<p>You cannot apply directly for a Further Assessment. They are granted on a case-by-case basis by the BoE and are only available in units that have been approved for Further Assessment. Check your unit outline to see if your unit is eligible.<\/p>\n<p>If the BoE determines that you are eligible, you will receive a notification through your Official Communications channel with instructions. You must be available to complete the assessment as scheduled. The official results publication date for each study period can be found on the <a href=https:\/\/students.curtin.edu.au\/essentials\/academic-calendar\/ target=_blank>Academic Calendar<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>You can navigate to the My Results tab&nbsp;using the steps below:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Log into <a href=https:\/\/oasis.curtin.edu.au\/ target=_blank>OASIS<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the My Studies&nbsp;tab.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the eStudent box.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the My Results&nbsp;tab.<\/li>\n<li>Click view next to your current course if necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If you are studying via Open Universities Australia (OUA), you can also obtain your results via the <a href=https:\/\/www.open.edu.au\/student-hub>OUA Student Hub<\/a>. Two types of academic statements are available:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Record of results lists results for all units taken through OUA, including failed and withdrawn units.<\/li>\n<li>A Statement of attainment lists only passed units.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To order an official Academic Transcript, please view&nbsp;<a href=https:\/\/students.connect.curtin.edu.au\/app\/faq\/a_id\/1749>How do I order official documents online?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The&nbsp;<a href=https:\/\/students.curtin.edu.au\/essentials\/examinations\/results\/>University grading system<\/a>&nbsp;is a useful resource for understanding your results.<\/p>\n\n        \n                            \n                    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"accordion\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-title-Understanding-academic-status\">\n            <button type=\"button\" class=\"accordion__heading\" aria-controls=\"Understanding-academic-status\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n            <div class=\"title\" id=\"accordion-title-Understanding-academic-status\">Understanding academic status<\/div>\n            <div class=\"icon\"><\/div>\n        <\/button>\n        <div class=\"accordion__content\" id=\"Understanding-academic-status\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n                    <p>It reflects your academic performance in your course. &nbsp;At the end of each study period, an academic group called the Board of Examiners meet and assign you a status based on how you are doing in the course. (Your status is reviewed again if your grades are updated.)&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There are three academic status levels:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Good Standing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This means you are achieving satisfactory results. You can continue your course and <a href=https:\/\/students.curtin.edu.au\/essentials\/managing-your-course\/re-enrolling\/ target=_blank>enrol<\/a>. Students on a status of good standing have a semester weighted average (SWA) of 50 or higher and have passed more than 50% of enrolled units each study period.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conditional<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A conditional status means you are at risk of not achieving satisfactory course progress. You are permitted to enrol, but may be subject to conditions which are determined by the head of school or Student Progress Appeals Committee. The conditions are to help you improve your academic progress.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Terminated<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A terminated status means you are not achieving satisfactory course progress and have been terminated from your course.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You will have the following options:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Appeal your termination using the <a href=https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/students\/essentials\/rights\/appeals\/academic-status\/ target=_blank>Academic status appeal process<\/a>&nbsp;by the deadline provided in your official communication.<\/li>\n<li><a href=https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/study\/applying\/domestic\/how-to-apply\/undergraduate\/#high-school target=_blank>Apply<\/a> for a new course.<\/li>\n<li><a href=https:\/\/students.connect.curtin.edu.au\/app\/answers\/detail\/a_id\/1936\/kw\/Readmission%20into%20a%20terminated%20course target=_blank>Apply<\/a> for readmission into a terminated course after 12 months.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can attend a <a href=https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/students\/study-support\/academic-status\/terminated\/ target=_blank>Terminated status information sessions<\/a> for support.<\/p>\n<p>For further information, refer to&nbsp;the <a href=https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/about\/governance\/compliance-legal\/find-a-policy\/ target=_blank>Assessment and Student Progression Manual<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n        \n                            \n                    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">University grading system<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The tables below represent the grading system used at Curtin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The grades and mark range correspond with the grades that you will see on your Academic eRecord and Academic Transcript. After this period, a student may apply to the Academic Registrar to have the ANN grade converted to a FAIL (Pass\/Fail units). The application must be in writing and provide an explanation of the circumstances of the original offence and justification for converting the ANN grade. Once the further assessment is completed, the student shall be awarded a grade of either PX (Pass After Further Assessment) or FX (Fail After Further Assessment). In both cases, for Grade\/Mark units the original mark shall be retained. An X grade must be converted to a final result by no later than the end of the subsequent study period in which the student is enrolled. Any extension must be approved by the Academic Registrar (or authorised officer).<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr class=\"row-3\">\n<td class=\"column-1\" style=\"text-align: center\">DA<\/td>\n<td class=\"column-2\">Deferred Assessment<\/td>\n<td class=\"column-3\">Where a final component of assessed work within a unit of study is approved to be done at a later date, but not later than the end of the next study period in which the student is enrolled. A DA grade must be converted to a final result by no later than the end of the subsequent study period in which the student is enrolled. The OA grade may be used as an interim (holding) grade until the assessment tasks and assessment are completed. An OA grade must be converted to a final result by no later than the end of the subsequent study period in which the student is enrolled.
