If approved, all <a href=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/students\/essentials\/it\/guides\/oasis\/alerts\/\">Official Communications<\/a> (OCs) will be sent to your preferred mailing address instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Before you apply<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>eExemptions are approved only in exceptional circumstances. To be eligible, you\u2019ll need to provide clear evidence of a genuine inability to access OASIS on at least a weekly basis. Slow internet connections aren&#8217;t considered grounds for an eExemption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You&#8217;ll need to provide independent supporting evidence with your application \u2014 for example, a letter from your medical practitioner, employer, or counsellor. If a Curtin counsellor has supported your request, separate documentation isn&#8217;t required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to apply<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Download and complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2021\/11\/eExemption-1.pdf\">eExemption application form [.pdf 89kB]<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attach your supporting evidence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit the completed form. Forms are also available to print from Curtin Connect or the University Counselling Service.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Make sure the form is fully completed and all evidence is attached \u2014 incomplete applications will be returned before processing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What happens next<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Your application will be reviewed and processed within 10 working days.
