You can apply for readmission into a course in which you have been terminated from by contacting the relevant admitting area &#8211; view Curtin&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/askcurtinfaq.custhelp.com\/app\/answers\/detail\/a_id\/1936\/\" rel=\"noopener\">FAQ<\/a>\u00a0page for further information.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Option 3:<\/strong>\u00a0Apply for a new course at Curtin or an alternative institution.<\/p>\n\n        \n                            \n                    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n                    <div class=\"accordion\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-title-Options-for-international-students\">\n            <button type=\"button\" class=\"accordion__heading\" aria-controls=\"Options-for-international-students\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n            <div class=\"title\" id=\"accordion-title-Options-for-international-students\">Options for international students<\/div>\n            <div class=\"icon\"><\/div>\n        <\/button>\n        <div class=\"accordion__content\" id=\"Options-for-international-students\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n                    <p>If you are an international student you have the following options:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Option 1:<\/strong>\u00a0Submit a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/students\/essentials\/rights\/appeals\/academic-status\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Request for Review of Academic Status<\/a>\u00a0application.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Option 2:<\/strong>\u00a0Accept the decision and do not continue your course. This will result in the Department of Home Affairs (Australian Government) being notified that you have ceased studying which has implications for your visa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Option 3:<\/strong>\u00a0Apply for a new course at Curtin or an alternative institution.<\/p>\n<p>Once your terminated status is final you have two options should you wish to continue your studies with Curtin University after a waiting period:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2024\/10\/Curtin-University-INT-readmission-to-terminated-course-request.pdf\">A) Readmission request after termination <strong>to same course<\/strong> (minimum 1 year gap recommended) [.pdf 240kB]<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2024\/10\/Global-Curtin-Admissions-Request-for-Readmission-to-a-Different-Course_Sept-2022.pdf\">B) Readmission request after termination <strong>to different course<\/strong> (minimum 1 study period gap recommended) [.pdf 329kB]<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Submit the appropriate form along with any supporting documentation via the <a href=\"https:\/\/students.connect.curtin.edu.au\/app\/ask_details_international\/p\/2140\/WebForm\/Ask%20International\/WebLabel\/Student%20or%20applicant\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ask International web form.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Are you an international onshore student at an Australian Campus and on a student visa? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you are Terminated this will have an impact on your <a href=\"https:\/\/international.curtin.edu.au\/pre-departure\/student-visas\/\">student visa<\/a> and it is important that you understand your rights.\u00a0 If you do not submit a Request for Review of Academic Status (Option 1 above), or your Request for Review and subsequent appeal is unsuccessful, you will be reported for unsatisfactory course progression on the Provider Registration and International Student Management System (PRISMS) to the Australian Authorities in accordance with s19(2) of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 (ESOS Act). If this is the case you can request a review of the decision for your Terminated status. If you do not submit a Request for Review, your termination will be final, and you will be removed from your course. If your Request for Review is (or subsequent appeals are) not successful, your termination will also become final, and you will be removed from your course<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will need to submit your Request for Review of Academic Status online application within 20 working days of being notified of your Terminated status by Official Communication. These communications are generally sent when final results are officially published to students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/students\/essentials\/rights\/appeals\/academic-status\/\">See information and instructions on submitting a Request for Review of&nbsp;Academic Status application.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you need help completing your request for review please contact the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/guild.curtin.edu.au\/studentassist\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Student Assist Officers at the Curtin Student Guild<\/a>. The Student Assist Team are also available to discuss your circumstances and to review your letter before submission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All students are considered enrolled until the final outcome of the Request for Review and Appeal process.
