{"id":6170,"date":"2021-11-18T08:54:16","date_gmt":"2021-11-18T00:54:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/students\/student-essentials\/student-details-and-id\/travel-smart-rider-concession\/"},"modified":"2022-01-05T15:54:17","modified_gmt":"2022-01-05T07:54:17","slug":"travel-concession","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/students\/essentials\/student-details-and-id\/travel-concession\/","title":{"rendered":"Travel SmartRider concession"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>If you are a&nbsp;full-time Curtin student, you are entitled to a&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.transperth.wa.gov.au\/smartrider\/types-of-smartrider\/tertiary-smartrider\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tertiary&nbsp;SmartRider<\/a>&nbsp;card.&nbsp;For SmartRider concession purposes, full-time enrolment is a minimum of 75 credits in a half-year period.<\/p>\n<p>The card&nbsp;gives you concessional fares on&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.transperth.wa.gov.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Transperth<\/a>&nbsp;(or&nbsp;TransGoldfields)&nbsp;buses, trains and ferries.&nbsp;&nbsp;You cannot get student fares by showing your&nbsp;Student ID card, however it is recommended&nbsp;that&nbsp;you carry&nbsp;your&nbsp;Student ID&nbsp;card with your Tertiary&nbsp;SmartRider&nbsp;when traveling.<\/p>\n<p>Follow&nbsp;the&nbsp;steps&nbsp;below to get&nbsp;your tertiary travel concession.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"accordions__container\"><div class=\"accordion\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-title-How-to-register-your-SmartRider-for-tertiary-concession\">\n            <button type=\"button\" class=\"accordion__heading\" aria-controls=\"How-to-register-your-SmartRider-for-tertiary-concession\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n            <div class=\"title\" id=\"accordion-title-How-to-register-your-SmartRider-for-tertiary-concession\">How to register your SmartRider for tertiary concession<\/div>\n            <div class=\"icon\"><\/div>\n        <\/button>\n        <div class=\"accordion__content\" id=\"How-to-register-your-SmartRider-for-tertiary-concession\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n                    <p>To register your card your SmartRider, follow the steps below:<\/p>\n<p>1. Log into&nbsp;<a href=https:\/\/oasis.curtin.edu.au\/Auth\/LogOn target=_blank>OASIS<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>2. Click on the My Campus tab.<\/p>\n<p>4. Select the&nbsp;SmartRider Concession Registration button.<\/p>\n<p>5. Enter your SmartRider number and agree to the terms and conditions.<\/p>\n<p>6.
