The Indigenous Support Officer supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in the Faculty of Science and Engineering throughout their studies<\/p>\n\n\n \n\n \n\n

I\u2019m Indiana Rutter, born in rural WA on Minang Country, with strong, proud, <\/span>ancestral connections to the Wirlomin Wudjari people and my Scottish ancestry. I\u2019m <\/span>both a student and staff member here at Curtin, and study a Bachelor of Advanced <\/span>Science, majoring in Coastal and Marine Science. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m here to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students studying in Science <\/span>and Engineering. Whether that\u2019s through financial and material support, connecting <\/span>you with tutors and mentors, or just being someone you can have a yarn with when <\/span>things get tough, I can be your first point of call. I also run regular social events for <\/span>Mob in our faculty, so keep an eye on your emails!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n \n \n <\/article>\n <\/div>\n <\/mimas-block>\n\n\n\n
