{"id":1363,"date":"2021-10-11T14:53:06","date_gmt":"2022-03-22T04:34:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/sport\/?page_id=1363"},"modified":"2026-07-09T14:42:07","modified_gmt":"2026-07-09T06:42:07","slug":"university-basketball-league","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/sport\/competitive-sport\/university-basketball-league\/","title":{"rendered":"University Basketball League"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is the University Basketball League (UBL)?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The University Basketball League (UBL) is a national competition now in its 6th year, which brings together 12 universities from across Australia to compete for the national title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sanctioned by UniSport Australia and in partnership with Basketball Australia, the league provides student-athletes with a national platform to showcase their talent while balancing their academic pursuits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2026 Season<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The UBL season will be held in semester 2 \u2013 beginning of August through to end of September. Featuring eight (8) home and away games played at Curtin Stadium and across Australia.
