Why is Young Minds: Our Future important?<\/h2>\n \n

Young Minds: Our Future<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0is a national survey that wants to learn how children and young people in Australia are feeling \u2014 especially when it comes to mental health and wellbeing.<\/p>\n

It provides the opportunity to see how things have changed over the last 10 years and find answers to important questions raised in the last survey, called\u00a0Young Minds Matter<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Your voice matters!<\/em>\u00a0Whether you\u2019ve had mental health challenges or not, the team wants to hear from all kinds of children and young people. What you share can help improve services and support for others your age.<\/p>\n

By taking part, you\u2019re helping shape a better future for young people across Australia.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n \n \n <\/article>\n <\/div>\n <\/mimas-block>\n\n\n\n\n \n\n

Who can take part?<\/h3><\/div>

Families with young people aged 4 to 17 years who live in selected areas might be invited to join the survey. This helps make sure the results reflect families from all across Australia.<\/p>

If you’re 11 years or older and selected, you\u2019ll be able to take part by answering questions yourself in a simple online questionnaire.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

How long will it take? <\/h3><\/div>

The youth survey will take approximately 45 minutes to complete and you will be given a $50 EFTPOS gift card for your time.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

What is the process like? <\/h3><\/div>

If you’re taking part in the survey, you’ll be doing your questionnaire while your parent is having their interview with the Roy Morgan interviewer.<\/p>

You’ll be in a separate room, answering questions on a tablet by yourself. <\/p>

This helps keep your answers private, so you can be honest and feel comfortable sharing how you really feel.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div> <\/div>\n<\/mimas-block>\n\n\n\n\n \n \n
