We have a number of eDNA community science projects where the aim of projects are to engage participants with the biology in their local ecosystems that are under various anthropogenic pressures. eDNA is a fantastic way to unveil so much about whats in front of us all &#8211; both the seen and unseen.  It also teaches people genetic literacy and draws on many of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.education.wa.edu.au\/what-is-stem\">STEM<\/a>\u00a0skills, which we feel is extremely important.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our lab is passionate about education and community engagement with the environment.
