You\u2019ll be matched to an experienced professional who will help you identify and reach your career development goals and build your confidence in a workplace environment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How does it work? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>PACE runs across 16 weeks between April and August. You\u2019ll meet with your mentor once a fortnight during that time. Meetings last around one to two hours and are planned to suit you and your mentor\u2019s schedules.<\/p>\n<p>After you apply, we match you with a mentor based on the information provided in your application. Consideration for matching includes your preferred industry, the skills you want to develop, the goals you set, and your location.<\/p>\n<p>Mentees can discuss their career goals and aspirations, and get help to develop a plan for their personal and professional development. Meetings with mentors may include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reviewing resumes and cover letters<\/li>\n<li>Mock interviews<\/li>\n<li>Networking with other professionals<\/li>\n<li>Building confidence<\/li>\n<li>Attending events and team meetings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Am I eligible?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be over 18 years of age<\/li>\n<li>Identify as having <a href=\"https:\/\/www.and.org.au\/pages\/what-is-a-disability.html\">any type of disability<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How do I apply?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Read the details on our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.and.org.au\/pages\/apply-for-mentoring.html\">information page for students<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tfaforms.com\/420518\">complete our online application form<\/a> <strong>before 3 March 2019<\/strong>.
