{"id":6712,"date":"2018-05-16T01:40:38","date_gmt":"2018-05-15T17:40:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/staying-logged-student-email-account-now-easier\/"},"modified":"2022-12-07T13:08:35","modified_gmt":"2022-12-07T05:08:35","slug":"staying-logged-student-email-account-now-easier","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/staying-logged-student-email-account-now-easier\/","title":{"rendered":"Staying logged in to your student email account is now easier!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>You now don\u2019t have to login multiple times when accessing your Curtin student email address through OASIS.<\/p>\n<p>These recent updates mean that you will no longer be able to use native mail apps on your computer or phone to access your Curtin student email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>It\u2019s easy to access your student email using one of the options below.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Access your student email in OASIS on desktop, Android or iOS where you will be automatically signed in through the &#8220;Open your OASIS email&#8221; link.<\/li>\n<li>If you have the latest iOS software operating on your iPhone, sign in to your student email through the \u2018Mail\u2019 app.<\/li>\n<li>Download and use the Microsoft Outlook mail client on desktop,\u00a0 Android or iOS, which is free for all current students and can be used on up-to five devices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Instructions on how to download Microsoft Outlook mail client:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Login to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.office.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">office.com<\/a> using your student email account and OASIS password<\/li>\n<li>Click &#8216;Install Office\u2019 apps<\/li>\n<li>Download and run the install file.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-47318\" src=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Office-SS-336x205.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"409\" height=\"249\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Alternatively, you can navigate to the Microsoft Office homepage by following these steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>logging into <a href=\"https:\/\/oasis.curtin.edu.au\/Auth\/LogOn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">OASIS\u00a0<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Navigate to your student email inbox<\/li>\n<li>Click on \u2018Office 365\u2019 tile at the top left of the screen (see below)<\/li>\n<li>Login to office.com using your student email account and OASIS password<\/li>\n<li>Click &#8216;Install Office\u2019 apps<\/li>\n<li>Download and run the install file.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-47319\" src=\"https:\/\/www.curtin.edu.au\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Office-SS2-336x123.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"410\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Recent updates mean you don\u2019t have to login multiple times to access your Curtin student email.
