If sport has been a big part of your year at Curtin, this is your chance to make sure the people putting in the work get recognised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nominations are now open for the 2026 Curtin Sport Awards<\/strong>, celebrating students, teams, clubs, coaches and volunteers who have made an impact through sport this year. That includes everything from high-performance athletes competing at state, national or international level, to the people leading clubs, coaching teams, volunteering behind the scenes and helping build Curtin\u2019s sporting community. And yes, you can nominate someone else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Think about the people you\u2019ve seen putting in the work this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Maybe it\u2019s the teammate who keeps delivering when it matters. The coach who somehow gets everyone through the season. The volunteer who is always there before everyone arrives and after everyone leaves. Or maybe it\u2019s a student athlete who has been representing Curtin at a seriously high level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There are awards recognising:<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you know someone who deserves recognition, put their name forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Nominations can be submitted by Curtin students, staff, affiliated clubs and members, State Sporting Associations, representative sport coordinators, coaches and Curtin representative team captains<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Just make sure your nomination includes clear evidence of how the nominee meets the relevant award criteria, as this is what the Awards Committee will use when considering finalists and winners. <\/p>\n\n\n\n You have until 11:59 pm on 30 November 2026<\/strong> to submit a nomination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So if someone from your team, club or sporting community has had a massive year, don\u2019t assume someone else will nominate them.<\/p>\n\n\nWho deserves a nomination?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
