It gives you the fuel you need to power through your day-to-day but it doesn\u2019t have to mean you have to spend more to do that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Curtin Student Guild and Foodbank WA are teaming up to deliver <strong>Nom! Sessions<\/strong>. It is a series of free, hands-on cooking and nutrition sessions designed to help Curtin students build practical food skills while making the most of their grocery budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each two-hour session combines practical nutrition and food budgeting advice with hands-on cooking. You\u2019ll learn useful tips you can take into your everyday life, then put them into practice by preparing a simple meal and enjoying it with other Curtin students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What to expect<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each Nom! Session includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>30\u201345 minutes of discussion<\/strong> on a nutrition or food budgeting topic<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>45\u201360 minutes of hands-on cooking<\/strong>, using recipes from Superhero Foods HQ<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>30 minutes to enjoy the meal together<\/strong> and connect with other students<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whether you\u2019re trying to stretch your grocery budget, reduce food waste, build your cooking confidence or learn more about healthy eating, there\u2019s something practical to take away from each session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Choose a session that works for you<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sessions run from <strong>10:30 am to 12:30 pm at The Haven, Club Hub (106A.108)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Upcoming sessions include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>1 October:<\/strong> Healthy Eating<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>8 October:<\/strong> Shopping on a Budget<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>15 October:<\/strong> Money Saving Tips<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>21 October:<\/strong> How to Reduce Food Waste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can register for one session or attend multiple sessions, depending on what interests you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Free for Curtin students<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nom!
